Need a boost of confidence, energy, and power at any time? This spell’s for you. This is a simple solar enchanted charm that anyone can do.

What’s needed:

• Something red that you’ll wear or carry on your person (see notes)
• Sun water (see notes)
• Pinch of any of these: coffee, burdock, calendula, cinnamon, cinquefoil, dragon’s blood, rosemary, thyme (see notes)

Take your red item and set it in the sun for about an hour. When you put the item down in the sun, say “Open yourself to sunlight and become powerful. You gain energy be simply being.”

About an hour later, pick up the item (carefully, it might be hot) and say, “You’re as powerful as the sun.”

Sprinkle a bit of the selected herb over the red item and say, “You grow in power without being drained.”

Lightly sprinkle sun water across the red item and say, “Your power remains strong, even when tested.”

Dry the item thoroughly and put on the item or carry it in your pocket. Then say, “Your power confers to me. I am powerful, full of energy, and bright as the sun.”

This item is now an enchanted item and grant you power and energy just by carrying it. To re-energize it, simply place it in the sun.

Notes:

• Anything red will do, such as a piece of clothing (even underwear) or jewelry, but it can be a small red charm or piece of decoration. A cellphone case is another good choice.
• Make sure your red item can handle direct sunlight and can’t be damaged by water.
• Sun water is water that has been set in pure sunlight to gain solar energy
• Any of the herbs and ingredients will do, but be cautious. Some, such as coffee, cinnamon, and dragon’s blood, can stain cloth.
