I wanted to create a world where magic can be as low-key as our own practices alongside some truly unbelievable stuff. The Valora series is about practitioners like us, maybe with a bit more flash and consistency. The Valora series is also part of the Gray World series and that’s a bit more urban fantasy than paranormal fantasy, if that makes any sense.
